Karen Thompson, B.A., LL.B, is a lawyer, mediator and arbitrator with over years of experience exclusively practicing family law. Karen has had many appearances in Provincial, Superior and Unified Family Court, including trials, motions and conferences.
Karen is an agent for the Office of the Children's Lawyer. She is a member of the Halton County Law Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada. Karen is also an active volunteer in the community, dedicating her time and resources to International Women's Day in support of SAVIS sexual assault services of Halton, Canadians in Support of Afghan Women (CSAW), and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton.

Lisa Bombardieri, Hons. B.A., J.D.
An experienced litigator, Lisa holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Queen's University and an Honours degree in English Literature from the University of Ottawa. She was called to the bar in 2009 and joined Karen Thompson Law in April, 2011. Lisa gained Family Law experience as an Associate and Articling Student with a prominent Toronto-based Family Law firm and through her work with the Kingston Family Law Project. While earning her law degree, Lisa volunteered with Queens University's Law Journal and with the university's Legal Aid project. She was awarded first place in the American Bar Association's Client Counseling Moot Competition.

Susan Dryden is our Family Law Clerk with over years of experience in family law. Susan has been working with Karen since 2003. Susan is involved in all aspects of client and file management including the preparation of financial statements, drafting and filing of court of pleadings and correspondence and the day to day interaction with clients.

Fiona Bryan is our Administrative Assistant managing our offices needs, including scheduling appointments and all accounting functions. Fiona is likely the first person to greet you on the telephone and as you enter our office.
